How to Cast a Heavy Nymph Rig Without Letting It Lead the Rod

Use it with restraint. A very wide oval cast is difficult to aim and can put the rig into nearby obstacles. Start with a small sidearm component and watch the loop. Know when to reposition instead of forcing the cast
